------------------------------------------------------ To Anakin 1/1 By Ruby-Flame Jedi Queen miriam_am@yahoo.com ------------------------------------------------------ Test Flight Anakin helped Amidala into the TIE-fighter he had built himself. "Well this is an unusual idea for a date," she commented. Anakin smiled. "I don't settle for the everyday stuff Ami, surely you know that by now." Amidala grinned back, "I noticed." Then she added, "I don't settel for everyday people, surely YOU know that by now." "I've noticed that too," Anakin answered, and he leaned in and kissed her." "That was wimpy,"She said, pretending to be offended. "I haven't even started the ship yet, Your Highness, so hold your horses." Anakin started the ship's engine, made sure all the systems were ready to go, and took off. "Okay Ani, we're in the air," Amidala commented. "Yes we are," Anakin replied, and once the ship reached the right height he set the ship on auto pilot. "Let's see, where were we?" Anakin mused. "We were right....here!" Amidala answered, and pulled him into a long, juicy, kiss. She felt his tongue come into play, and almost laughed out loud. She loved this guy so much! After their fit of kissing, the two lovers looked down at the Palace, so small beneath them. They felt on top of the world, and Amidala laughed in delight. "Let's go into orbit Ani!"She said, and he took her higher and higher. Until they were circling around the planet, staring at it's imensity and beauty. Or at least Amidala was. Anakin was busy staring at Amidala's beauty. "You're so beautiful," He whispered and kissed her neck. "You're my knight in shining armor," She replied, and she leaned her head against his shoulder. After a few minutes passed by Anakin asked Amidala, "Do you love me, my angel?" Amidala looked into his big blue eyes, and answered, "Of course I do." He smiled and she laughed and kissed his nose. "How about some dinner?" Anakin suggested. "Dinner, wow! You've got this date all planned out!" "Yup." Anakin opened a compartment in the back, where he pulled out the gormet meal, still hot thanks to the compartment's heating. Then out of a cooler in the back of the ship, he pulled out two bottles of Red Urban- the Dostish version. Amidala breathed in the wonderful smell. "Mmmmm.... Ani it smells so good!" Anakin handed her her food. "Dig in!" He said. Amidala took a bite. It was delicous! Broiled Ontha meat! Mmmmm! Anakin poored the very red drink into her glass, with a sly smile. "What's so funny Anakin?" Amidala inquired, as Anakin handed her her drink. "Nothing Ami. Let's make a toast." "To us!" Amidala said. "To us!"Anakin repeated with a slight chuckle. Amidala drank, but was still a little suspicious. She was thirsty, and was about to finish her glass when she noticed something floating in the water. "Aaaah! What is that?" She turned and asked Anakin. Anakin just smiled. "So you think this is funny huh? Well I'll just pull it out and see what it...Oh!" Amidala cried in delight when she pulled out a beautiful ring with a heart made of diamond on it. Anakin handed her an envelope which she tore open. Inside was a letter that said, To The Queen Amidala of Naboo, You caught my heart in your silky grip I fell for you the minute I saw you You're so beautiful to me Your voice is soft, like the coo of a dove I love the way you kiss You're so beautiful to me I didn't know if you would come to me I was younger, but in love, you see You're so beautiful to me My heart followed and goes out for you I can't keep it...so please except it... You're so beautiful to me. My angel. Amidala began crying, and Anakin took the ring from her and dried it. Then he kneeled as best as he could and said, "Amidala, queen of Naboo, will you marry me?" Amidala gasped, "Yes, yes" between her sobs, she was so touched. Anakin wiped her tears off and silenced her with a long kiss. Amidala felt like the luckiest woman alive as he slipped the ring on her finger.
