Hardly the EMSL's first layout (it's been up since the summer of '00), but its first on Demando.Net. It was hastily made, hence the reason I forgot to leave room for the guestbook... ^^; Anyway, the image is by fanartist Brian Bork. Cute, ne? A little TOO pink, though.

You know what? I don't even LIKE Ann, but I have a cell image of her falling, and it just *looked* right. Purple is my favorite color, and the gold contrasts rather nicely, don't you think? I finally figured out how to do the drop down tables, which are nice for lazy little webmistresses such as myself. ^_~

This layout gave me pains, but it was worth it. I spent five days on this thing, and the java script gave me a little trouble, but I managed to get it done in time. It's meant to celebrate the EMSL's one year anniversary. WAI! We've been online for a whole year. Who knows what will happen in the next one-- we may even conquer SM fandom. ^_~ There are so many pretty images of Hotaru, but I like this one best because it captures her misery. If you look in the corner, you can see Mistress 9 as well...

I really liked this layout when I put it up, but now it seems ugly to me. Strange... Anyway, the mirror you see Esmerude in isn't actually a mirror. It's an emerald necklace, part of the Smithsonian collection. When I visited D.C. a couple of years ago, I went to the Smithsonian; the jewelry there is TO DIE FOR. ^_^; Anyway, I took tons of pictures, which I knew wouldn't turn out. Then I bought postcards featuring the National Collection, which I scan in sometimes to use for layouts. Even if the layout is ugly now, I still like the picture of Esmerude. It's one of the better ones of her.

Hotaru may well end up being the EMSL's cover girl. This layout was made from a fanart picture drawn specially for the site. ^_^ The background is white, which is increibly unusual for me. I decided to take a picture of one of the inner pages, as well, since they turned out lookng epecally nice this time around.
